Simparica 80mg for Dogs contains sarolaner and is formulated to control flea and tick infestations. Fleas and ticks must attach and begin feeding to be exposed to the active ingredient. Zoetis states that the onset of effect is within 8 hours of flea attachment and within 12 hours of tick attachment.

Dosage & Directions for Use Simparica 80mg for Dogs

Simparica is administered orally at 2–4mg sarolaner per kg body weight. For dogs weighing over 20kg to 40kg, administer one 80mg tablet. If your dog does not voluntarily accept the chewable, it may be given with food or placed directly into the mouth. Do not divide the tablet.

Warnings & Precautions

For animal use only. Do not use in puppies under 8 weeks of age and/or dogs weighing less than 1.7kg. Do not use in pregnant or lactating dogs unless directed by a veterinarian following an appropriate benefit/risk assessment. Keep the product and blister pack out of reach of children and animals. Wash hands after handling.
